  • ABOUT YOUR HOST DAVID SUMMERS

A Missourian by birth and Washingtonian by choice, David has called the Puget Sound home for the past 20 years.  In January 2000, David joined the team of Salem Radio Seattle as copywriter, and has served in a variety of departments, including Operations, Production, Traffic, Promotions and Public Affairs.  In June of 2009, David lobbied station management for a public affairs program, and was given the green light to make it happen.  As host of Spotlight on the Sound, David has sought to create an effective platform for those making a difference in our community, by providing a warm, friendly environment for guests, and by crafting a finished broadcast the listening audience will enjoy and appreciate. David and his wife, Sheryl are residents of Tacoma, and have served in a variety of leadership roles in the local church and larger community.
